I suppose that depends on what effect you want to create. Are you going to paint it a white colour with pearl? and think about adding some candy...??
adding a tinge of blue or red candy to a white pearl would be a very interesting idea.. it would be amuzing to see how it turns out... probably pretty rad. personally I'd stick with a white pearl but add tons of silver or gold flake.. bling bling!! lol!

you know what would be a sweet "pearl white" color for you car?
the Cadillac pearl white, it really has a nice pearl accent to it and it definatly stands out...

it depends what color you are going with. and im also, im sure you know this already, but take you color out into the sun with water on it first, because you might overdo it. the sunlight makes all the pearl show up, and water is like mocking up a clearcoat. i actually just painted a pearl purple that looked pretty good inside, and a little better with water on it. but as soon as i took it outside the whole panel just jumped at me. so if i had added any more flake, pearl, or any kind of kandy, it would have really been overdoing it. i would have to know what color it is first.

I saw a pearl orange color on a riced out alero the other day....ugh not my cup of tea, but then again color is so dependent on the body style as well....think about some colors you love to see on certain cars but look like crap on others - case and point, take SOM and put it on a minivan....wouldnt stand out as much. Im sure with whatever color you're going with it'll look good, and adding some candy in a tasteful manner would be really cool to see, when do you think you'll be finished?
