putting the ss rims on my T/A and I know that the tires stick outa the wheels wells. my car is gettin painted withen the next month and i dont wana have to worry bout the paint. So i wud like to no how far the ss rims would stick out and where to find the mudflaps. Something like these. Mabye only Trans Am on them. thanks for whoevers car im using, it has a very nice rear.

My car is getting repainted next month too. I think I am going to get a set to put on mine to. I want the ones that are paintable.

I had to take them off my 88. I think they look horrible. I never planned on going muddin with my 3rd gen.

$20 mudflaps VS. $200-300 to have the back quarter panels repainted from stones chipping the paint. mudflaps do not look bad

There actually GM-made mudflaps. I have a pair, that i will probably never use (too bad they say camaro). I got mine from a local dealer. They had them sitting around for about 10 years and gave em to me for $10. I'd check with a few dealers to see if they have them, and then check on ebay.

to bad i do not have a camaro anymore i would like to have had them is there a part number or anything on the package you have?

Those mudflaps listed above are far from original. During the 80's, mudflaps from the dealer were flat like the one's in the picture. To be period correct, those would be the ones to get. They just happen to be the ones on my car.

Dude,
That car is SWEEEEET Where would one find the correct ones? I kinda like the ones on e-bay because they have Camaro on them.
