Let's see some engine bays!

I dont know about you guys, but I've always thought that the outside appearance of a car only accounts for a fourth of what makes a car a piece of artwork. Theres the interior, exterior, underbody and suspension, and finally....the heart of the whole car, the thing that makes the noise imports tremble to, the engine. So lets see some badass under-hood views and any unique specs on them.

I'll start if off with the engine bay from my recently deceased '85 Recaro T/A.

It was still in the middle of beautification and new go fast goodies, but life throws ya curves I guess.

Gotta love the miniram and superram. Hey jandl22 I've never seen a 2.5 in one of these before, is that a rare motor in these cars?

Also does anybody have pics of the car with the silver engine bay? I think its a black trans am that its in. Ive always thought that looked amazing.

The silver is actually alot easier to keep clean then the black was surpisingly.

The rad support I got like 8 years ago when the were still available.

oh damn. 8 years ago I was 13. LOL. I didn't even know what a camaro was back then. Oh well. Hopefully I will someday make a bay look that slick. Very nice work.

To answer your question I believe that the motor these days is rare. Most cars that came with this motor were either junked or had the engine swapped. There is only a handful on the boards that still have the Iron Duke and the mileage is really high on most. It is a dependable motor but with 90hp not really desirable for a third gen vehicle. I am keeping it total stock in hoped that one day I can either be buried in it or it will become a rare collectors item
