are they hard to install? Or do they have the same mounting points?
They are a little trickly. I made mine so that it's molded to the door though. The C5 mirror uses 3 bolts instead of 2. Good thing is, you reuse those 2 holes and just drill a third one. To make it molded i used a wire mesh and bondo. I think i had to drill another hole for the power mirror wires. Really, easier than i thought it would be. It looks very sweet from the interior, the mirror is so much bigger.

That's pretty sweet. Nice to know it's not too difficult of a swap. Could you get a shot of it from the outside.
I like how big they are. I can't see much out the stock mirrors.
I might try this mod sometime. I don't know how well it will flow the boxy style of my 84 bird though....
