Discount tire screwed me twice, help me with Torque thrusts
Here's the deal, i ordered the 17x9.5 for my 91 Z28, first they sent me the wrong offset, they were for the newer camaro's, then they re-ordered them, and sent me somthing with a more negative offset, but they still rub on the shocks up front, and the bumpstops out back, what is the correct offset, so i can tell these idiots, so they can get it right ? Were talking the Torque thrust II's with 17x9.5 ?

Yep 17x9.5 with a 5.5 you can put 275's in all 4 corners and be safe.

Do you think that i should recieve a discount on my wheels since ive had to wait for two shipments, and still no avail ???
yes you should get a discount......the offset for 255's all the way around is 4.5 inches. with 275's all the way around the offset is 5.5 inchs(this coming from car craft mag.) try www.americanracing.com for the torque thrust II's they have them in a hellufalot of sizes, including ours.

How much did you pay for those rims? I'd LOVE to get a set of those, but the MSRP on the American Racing website is $387 for the custom offset 17 x 9.5's. Did you get them for much less?

lol. that kinda sucks. i work for a discount here in orlando, and if someone screws up like that then we usually will give them like a free sets of locks or something to get them to quit bitching.. just talk to the mgr..
