Car Storage
Thought I would post about my car storage on this forum..couldnt find any other one that sounded close, so here it goes. Anyways, having 4 cars, and a 2 car garage I have come to the point where I have to keep two cars outside, (I live in Connecticut and its that time of the year). Instead of buying a 2 car fully enclosed portable garage for 1000+ or building an addition for even more, I came up with a cheaper solution. I purchased a tarp, spread it out, drove the car over it, wraped the car up like a present with bungee cords, then pull the car cover over top. I did this for both cars, anyone else do this or something like this? Or any comments on it and how it would perform?

i do that every winter to my bosses wife's car. its good for keeping water and snow out. however it can create mildew and mold. that happened one year. also if your gonna do this make sure to take the battery out and it on something where it wont loose its charge and top off the fluids. im in ct too, where ya from?

my car usually would be parked in a tent outside the side of my house, but since i'm at school it's going to be in a parking lot out in the snow
