Did you all see the Strycker front bumber?

Saw it on ebay and couldn't recall seeing it posted, nor could I find it while searching...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/chevy...QQcmdZViewItem

I think it is the nicest one of the aftermarket bumper covers I've seen for our cars - but Im still not convinced that it will flow just right with the rest of the car.. I also can't quite picture it without other matching parts.

Oh, and sorry if it was already posted

it MIGHT look decent without the mesh grill and without the horizontal lines in the fog light holes

That's two pictures in one. Notice the line below the headlight openings. It's a piece of junk. Whoever made it should be herded into a pit and clubbed to death.

Our cars have been around since 1982 and there's a reason why there has been an extremely small market for body kits for them...because they don't need em!

No.. your reason lies here https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=294083 within the first 20-30 posts.

I'll even add this.. no matter how good the kit looked..

I'm gonna raise the on this one, the picture is an obvious photoshop, no actual pictures of the product installed are shown, and the listing does not even tell you who the manufacturer is but also says they are one of the largest distributors of aerodynamics in the USA. Entire thing looks fishy ...

I guess I have a little bit of r*cer blood in me but it wouldn't take much to make that look good.

I realize it's fake but if the outer curves came down at a sharper angle and mounted a rounded rectangle (around a 2"x5") turn signal on top of a similarly shaped foglight. Maybe pull the upper point farther up to square up that line some and smooth the outer edge to properly integrate into the stock or slightly modified (lower?) fender gfx it might look okay.

Leave a little bit larger front grille opening and mount and intercooler there. Oooo...

LOL now thats funny

Anyways,
Sure looks 'shopped as I look at it some more.
Although I fully agree it doesn't flow well with the lines of our cars at all - I still think it is way ahead of that other aftermarket front bumper we see from time to time.
And as I look at it, I think it would look much more at home on a 93-97 4th gen.

Either way, the only other front bumper that goes on my car is a new, nice and straight stock one

dont forget that if yoyu add the stickers that come with it, it adds 30 more hp, and decreases your quarter mile time by 3 seconds.

Felony aside, I think it would be hilarious if someone hacked the site and linked 83_Camaro_83's pic to the auction instead.

Anyway...is it legal to force everyone to pay a flat 8.25% sales tax regardless of where they live? Reverse lookup shows the seller is somewhere near Walnut, CA.

i actually think it is alright but could use work, i think if on the edges they drew teh sides in just a hair so it kinda flared off at the bottom it could look real good, and it should be rounded a bit around the headlights, personally to me it looks shopped but i think if someone could get ahold of that stlye, i'd buy it, not for my current project but maybe on something else

Do you think it would help my Iron duke get better milage? I was thinking the increased aerodynamics will give me about a 15% increase according to my calculations.
