mine has only had snow on it once so far. and after friday its gonna really suck when it does snow cuz the new top i'm having put on is a glass window. and of coarse there's no rear defrost for it, so i might have a hard time seeing out of it...oh well i'm used to it anyways...the one i have right now looks like this

ah it ain't that bad. well there ya'll salt the roads so yeah that makes it bad.

excuse the unusal size or shape of the picture.

I think i have more snow, also this is from several years ago and the roads covered in ice then.

I know it must suck up there due to the salt though.

Hmm...that's snow??

This is Norway...in May

Mountain passes like this one are open only during the summer, and can have up to 20+ feet of snow at the peak of winter.

Sorry for the off-topic. Now back to f-bodys hurting in the snow:

This is from when I lived in IL and the poor 'maro was driven year round

Until your snowmobiling aloung and dont see the gap being the road and hit it at 40 mph. That would suck

now that is snow.

here in georgia its a wonder to see snow a lot of times. very rare, even if we do it is january or febuary when we see it and then its like an inch thick here max, but the ice is the worst.

Yeah suck hitting the gap at 40, unless you had the right ramp

this is usually the worst we get, but every few years we'll have a storm where the snow will stay on the ground for a couple of days.

Mine is not coevered in snow, but there is about 6" that I have to fight through to get to my garadge. I worked on my car last night for 3 hours when it was 5 or 6* F. In all that time I was just able to cut and fit MSD wires and route the loom. Tonight (if I don't chill with the woman) I am thinkin' of wiring up the Mallory ignition box. Should be fun.

my car looks like zephers right now...its freezing rain right now. Was snowing earlier. Oh well what can ya do. Ill never let this car be rusted out...so even if it does rust in 10 years it will be fixed. But it is truly sad for such nice cars to be in this weather

Same here. There are only a few nice ones that you see in the summer, but the majority are driven year round and live up the the camaro standard: Rustbucket-rednec cruisers.

Your exactly right, it's the salt that kills em, not the snow

Having relocated to SoCal from Detroit almost 16 years ago, I'd almost forgotten just how much I hated living in those wintery conditions. I had to be back in Detroit just a couple of weeks ago, for a full week. Bleak, drab, salty, dirty.....man, I really feel for you guys.

Yeah, a nice fresh covering of snow looks real pretty, just like a Christmas card - especially the picture hmmurdock_00 posted - but then you have to live it. Seriously, I'd have to own a total beater for winter driving if I lived there again, and yet, strangely, I have no desire to own an early '80s Chevy Citation!

I was there in 1980 when it dumped 18" overnight. Shut EVERYTHING down for about two weeks. My next three years in the area saw hardly any snow.

I heard about that. I moved here from Iceland back in 91 and the worst snow since was prabably the winter of 93/94.

Amazing! It seems as though the falling snow has been oddly attracted to, and centralized entirely, on the RA1 Hood!

That was classified as a blizzard by the locals. I had seen much worse and was actually having fun in the stuff. Learned to drive in snow in Michigan. I'm sure many here have seen worse also.

Salt? none here. So I am really not worried, as long bare metal is covered with something here noting will rust. Like my 1960 VW which sat in the elements most of its live, the only rust was the battery tray.

But the only reason i ever hated snow after december is it would shut the whole town down if it snowed 1 inch. I swear i seen it happen, and its a small town already nothing to do hardly.

hehe that be funny a general lee playing in the snow.

Its alot different in the south then it is up here in the Northeast. Its certain death for any vehicle to be driving around in the elements up here from December - April.

They drop salt on the roads like its water.

I don't like snow either. This was last year in December. Let's hope it doesn't happen again this year!

Who said that was the finished product? I have seen worse. While its not the best looking car in the world, it is a thirdgen, so it has potential.

By the way, im not trying to be a d ick.
