cowl hoods

I've been deciding on a hood for awhile and i think a cowl hood would be the best way to go.
anybody know if cervini's hood is the best way to go? and pics please.
i dont know if i like 3" so lets see different sizes.
thanks

this is a 3" cowl hood from www.championfiberglass.com that they sell for $300 plus shipping. i really like the looks of it as it is very similiar to the cervini's cowl without the cervini's price tag.

my personal opinion os go big or nothing, to me anyways anything under 4" just look like a "wanna be" cowl the harwood 3" i can stand but to ME it jsut doesnt look right, i have the harwood show series 4" outlaw...I am happy

Ya either love it or hate it, to me, it gives it a race car look and makes it look mean without being obnoxious...but this is also coming from the guy who wants to put a 6" on a vert

If its for looks, Id stick with 2.5-3"

No point obstructing your vision for a look, unless theres a need for that extra space.

I heard harwood ? makes them well.

you can get just about any size from harwood, we have always ran tehy're hoods on our race cars and have yet to be disapointed with one.

I put mine on so when i do my motor i will have plenty of room for the blower

the harwood 4" is incredible. the quality is great and the shape follows the lines of the car...for a RACE CAR! if the car gets driven on the street regularly, you'll hate that big cowl. my father has one, and i love the look, as long as i don't have to drive it around town, i'm fine with it. i like mine MUCH better for a driver.

i believe it's the "Super Duty" hood made by Hawk's, only for thirdgen birds.

so they dont make that hood for a camaro at all? id definitely buy one if they did. ive been wanting to get a new hood but i think some of the cowl hoods look too plain, with the ss hood at least you can paint that air scoop black to give it some seperation.

wheres the guy that made his own cowl hood out of an iroc hood and left the iroc louvers on it? anone have any pics of that hood? i like it the best so far. but i never saw finished pics of it.
