I was just thinking about getting the ol rock painted a little later on and thought the hugger orange with 2 white stripes would be a little different on a thirdgen. was wondering if anyone might have pics of one, or if anyones seen one like that, and what you think? mine still looks good for now, just a little clear coming off in a few little spots, its the victory red with dk med grey interior. will post a pic if i can figure out how. later

hmmmm, I'd say change the interior to black if you do, but I think it'd look pretty sweet, especially with heritage style stripes and maybe a cowl or SS hood. Sounds like if could be show worthy if you do it right

these draglites are 15x7 fronts with 225/50s and the rears are 15x8s with 265/50s. the fronts sits a bit low and she drags a little, you just have to be careful. the 265/50s are just .2 inches shorter than the factory 245/50x16 so they don't mess with your speedo or anything. plus they are 8.6 wide vs. 8.0. thinking of going with some 17s though later on those weld split 6s look killer. check these out.

looks to me like an '88 w/ 91-92 gfx, (says CAMARO on gfx not RS or Z/28) Base taillights, 91-92 rear bumper, 91-92 spoiler, but the paint and all is cool.... but they look like 16" wheels to me not 15". Not enuf sidewall.... I could be wrong though...

hey, slowcamarosc, the red car at the top of the post is mine with the 15 inch draglites. the blue and silver one was a project car done by SUPER CHEVY a while back. i was just showing the weld split six wheels that are on it. sorry if i confused anyone. the other one is project SILVER STREAK that they were building up for a give a way. and they did. so some lucky guy out there is driving this thing right now. its a 305 stroked to a 335 world products heads, TPI, and a 6 speed. yes its an 88, updated. and yes its WAYYY COOOOOL.

later.

I knew I'd seen that Silver Streak before somewhere. Both of those cars look awesome. Come to think of it, I've never seen a hugger orange third gen. I think it would be killer!

I say go with the orange. I saw one around here a while ago but without the stripes and it looked sweet.

that silver streak is the one that super chevy built up. it was originally an 88 sport coupe but they added the 91-92 GFX and spoiler.
