its because they aren't attaching them, they are linking them to an offsite website that is their own.
if you attach a picture inside a post, you are allowed a maximum of 100kb per picture and thirdgen.org does the hosting for you.
If you host it yourself and link it within the post, you can make it as large as you want. This is the basic principle of the internet, the web was founded on this kind of technology.

Im not sure what filter is used, but this is as close to cell shaded as I can get with stock filters.

just take a walk down oulette street... start from the river and work your way up.... you'll probably run out of time during the night before you get a chance to visit them all... i recognised the parking lot that you took the pictures in... i took some pictures there myself.... but it seems i do the opposite of you... i visist someone in toronto quite often...well the scarborough area....anyways... have a good time at the auto show... i should be going myself since its right across the river for me...
