I was trying to order these 3M products because I am going to touch up my paint in the near future but I was told they where too flammable to ship and that the freight charge would probably run over $100!!!

05936 Rubbing Compound
05937 Glazing Compound

Does anyone know where I can order them in europe? Or any alternatives to these? The seller reccomened meguiars but I've used their scratch-X paste and wasn't very impressed with it.

I was hoping these compounds would have been just what I needed to also take away all the swirlmarks I got in my paint in addition to treating the newly painted areas.

I've searched ebay.co.uk and no 3M rubbing/glazing products in the EU...

you could get someone in the states to buy them for you and ship them.

i know you can get them here because we've ordered those exact products before

you can buy them off the shelf here... and they do go thru regular shipping...

what you're asking about isnt even that flammable... cooking oil is worse.

id find a diffrent seller and just have it shipped normally.

I somehow doubt that you don't have a suitable alternative from another brand sitting on the shelf of your local parts store. Go to a local parts store and find out what they've got. I see a lot of shiny European cars so I know that they have that stuff over there!

Go to some local parts stores or body shops and see what's available. Any body shop is going to know what works well, and they'll probably even be willing to sell it to you if they have enough in stock.

i never thought those products were flammable, im going to go in the garage now and try to light them on fire. okay but seriously, i think you have a better chance at lighting water on fire.

Another ebay seller said they wouldn't ship either because they where flammable and hazardous.

Flash point should be 110 degrees for the 05937
