This weekend I should be picking up my girl- FINALLY!!!!! Here are the newest sneek peek pics I just got. The side shot doesn't even show how gorgeous this orange is so I'll be getting good shots when I pick her up.........

It definitely came out better than I thought too, but am I the only one who thinks it looks a bit tacky?

Tacky?? I don't see that at all....I wanted it very tastefully done and the painter did an AMAZING job- nice clean lines, unique flames with the hooks just like I wanted and not a ton of flames.....just enough!
The finished product will look even better....I'll be posting pics HOPEFULLY Sunday if the windshield guy makes it there like he's supposed to....

with my rims , id do others but i dont have the right angle of other rims and i dont like to take a pis with a diff angle , it makes em look funny , i dont like my wheels on your car btw , i think something with a straight spoke like kandedz's or camaroguys would be better , but thats just me.

Thanks for the PS of your rims! They do look funky on my car though- I agree with that..... Looking forward to see what anyone else might come up with- I did another seperate thread in the PS area.

I need alot of things, and brakes are on the list....fortunatly for me they only stand out badly in some pics I take....unfortunatly for me, I went back to school this fall and wont be putting any money into the car until I either finish med school or come across some money in some way.....probably wont even take her out of the garage this year

I'm actually supposed to have a tag there but the old one looks stupid with this new gorgeous paint job. It said "Naughty" but was in a lot of colors. I'm having one made to match the car and trying to decide between the bowtie the color of the flames like you said or "Bad Girl" on the front like on the seat covers or "Scorch" which is what I call the car.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Oh and I'm also having my helmet painted to match ;-)

I like that you went with a theme, the whole orange/black works out nice.
From the sides, the car looks good but it dies at the frt end/fenders.
I also dont car for the hood, it doesnt compliment the sides of the car well at all do to the huge break up off space from the orange on the cowl/hood to the orange licks starting out farther back on the sides.
Overall I like the execution with the exception of the cowl hood(its personal taste and I despise cowls, no I dont know why:-)) and the way the flow is lost broken over the hood to sides of car scheme.
Rims I'm not too sure what should go on there. Too blingy would draw too much attention, but yet with that paint it requires something over the stockers.
Overall, its not something I would do(I'm the sick twisted stock sleeper look type) but I can appreciate it, cause it looks like it had some thought put into it and she had her car done right as far as paint and body work goes.

I like the flame idea but I dont like all the black on the front end I think less black and more orange would of looked better, I do think the boyd hot rods would look good but I am bias to both because my roc is being done in orange and the boyds are in my garage
maybe some day it will all be in paint

i think it looks very nice. dont listen to all these people saying it looks tacky its what you think and to me it looks great i dont see how anyone could say it looks tacky. it does need a little more orange on the front of the car though like the orange bowtie or a black front plate with bright orange letters would be nice. also you need to put those black iroc stickers on the doors towards the back. b/c looking at the car from the side the front is almost completely black but then towards the back it is completely orange from the windows down the black sticker would blend it all together a little more i think. i definitly think you should put the black z06's with the chrome lip those would look best to me but you could do what i did and get the chrome irocs
but make sure they dont sit in your garage for 2 months b4 you get tires...

I think it looks pretty cool. Will you be taking it to the Fbody Gathering in Atlanta - May 26, 27 & 28th?

i think it's sharp the orange on the hood outlines the cowl well it accentuates it. I usually lean more towards a more stock appearance, but you definately pulled it off with the two tone paint job. Most end up looking hideous. Either way get it together and get some wheels and you'll be set! I think the only thing I could recommend would be a 5inch spoiler but since you already have it painted i guess it's to late.

Here's the completed pics....I think she's GORGEOUS......and I'm a bit surprised someone would think it's tacky but oh well......
Image removed- I'm pretty sure I've told you about the rules before. Please make a cardomain or host your images elsewhere if you want to show more than three pics. Thanks.

I like it. Hood looks better from the side than from the front though, but hey, it's done & YOU LOVE IT & that's all that really matters! Good luck on finding the correct wheel, that's a tough one. It simply makes or breaks a car.
I love black rims but I think they'd be to much for your car, unless your into the nightrider look. Go with a contrasting polished 5-spoke.

It does look much better than I thought it would, but the "unique" flames aren't my thing. Unique isn't always better.
Any plans for new parking lights and fog lights? I think it would really clean up the front end.

what color rocker emblem are you going to go with? you definantly need one. and for the wheels. i like the idea of a 17 or 18 with a pretty simple styling.

I love the look good job!
