JADA TOYS and your help. [Updated 4-30-06]

Mods if there is anywhere else on this site this can be moved please do so.

I'm certain this will get locked but i hope it will not get deleted. I am working with JADA TOYS to have a small run of late model custom thirdgens built but they are a little worried on the demand since it seems highly modified thirdgens are few and far between in the mainstream.

If you are someone who would purchase a tastefully modified late model thirdgen in the typical JADA TOY style fashion please respond to this thread until it is locked.

If it is locked and not deleted please email me at oddiez@hotmail.com with the subject line in all caps.

PLEASE BUILD THIRDGEN MODEL.

include your name, state and email addres in the body of the email and nothing else. If we can gather up 1,000 they will start a limited production.

these are the following styles up for evaluation:
91-92 Z28, 89 IROC, 92 FIREHAWK.

so email, sign up and lets see this happen.

all of them are up for production so it isn't a vote of one or the other. just a vote for the thirdgen..

14 views and no emails...

i don't want to have to do a limited private venture as i just want to see our cars made so send the emails.

everyone has been very supportive which is great but we are low on the email count. if there is another site that you visit which has a thirdgen fan base put the word out.

all you need to do is email here: oddiez@hotmail.com

put PLEASE BUILD THIRDGEN MODEL as the title of the email.

include only your name, state and email address otherwise it will be overlooked.

companies can be touchy.

lets keep up the good work and put the word out, if we hit 1,000 different emails we should have no problems. please make sure it is a registered email and not one of your spam email accounts as it will get rejected.

359 views and 1/10 of that in emails... come one now. the time it takes you to look you could have emailed and helped to put a thirdgen on the shelves.

I hope they don't put like 20" wheels on them. That whole look is killing some nice diecast cars being produced lately.

email sent!!
jordanm@uga.edu

For those that are skeptical about sending emails this isn't like a group purchase where you have to commit to buy. Jeff is just trying to let the company know that people are interested so it will go into production. Jada makes some cool toys for sure, I have quite a few myself, and would definately buy a few of these!

they usually fit whatever is in proportion and the larger wheels are big right now. i can assure you that it will not be a factory duplicate so if that's something your looking for i would suggest contacting some of the more old school companies like johnny lightning.

no, over 700 emails but only 400 of them can be sent.

please mark the thread and only include your name, doesn't have to be last name, general address (city/state) and email address in the email.

1,200 views. how many of you keep viewing and not sending?

1 DwnCam, i'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

Definitely in, I'd probably buy every color in whatever size they make. Are we looking at 1/24 and 1/64 sizes and maybe a 1/18?

I have cleaned up this thead and left only posts asking questions or having information which is relevant.

Like Jeff said, this will take roughly 1,000 people interested to get a limited production made. If you are interested, e-mail Jeff (oddiez@hotmail.com) with "PLEASE BUILD THIRDGEN MODEL" in the subject line and the information he asked for in the body.

Updates will be posted when they have become available.

Lets get this done!
