here i did this too... i told you that you needed to put an iroc decal on the door towards the back. look at how much better it looks with it.
i still think if it were my car i would put those black Z06's on there man those things look sweet.
Image removed- Please check the rules sticky. Thanks.

go with those black rims.. however get the rear rims painted in the same orange.. get someone to photoshop that.. it would look killer in my opinion. Also add the black iroc decal

eww! leave your wheels all one color. the chrome lip is a good idea with black wheels but orange and black would look odd.

RARARAR, one hell of a ride. Usually when people do a flame theme on our cars they look like total ****. Yours on the other hand, flow with the car very very well. Get a bad *** alarm 2-way pager, Matching tire boots for front and rear, removable steering wheel, and a hand gun. Someone is going to want that

I haven't made it to WR yet but was hoping to by next weekend. Right now it's sitting here in Eatonton.... so I am doubting as of now I'll make to the shootout- that's been my goal since LAST Spring shootout!
Yesterday I got to take it for the FIRST real drive since the motor was put in a year ago and since I got it back from the painter 3 weeks ago. Well....the carb clogged up and I ended up sputtering to a sad stop on the side of the road on 441. When the carb was taken off, it was FULL of gas and lots of trash. The needle and seat was hung open with lots of paint flakes. It seems like the painter (most likely the first guy that had it), didn't cover the engine properly because it was full of crud. At this point it looks and sounds like my engine is ruined and I'm beyond upset.... but what am I to do?! Nothing but get it fixed.
So unless it's an easy fix like a starter or alternator (that's the sound it was making was that loud grinding click when I try to start it), then all this has been in vain....it will be a long while before I can have the engine rebuilt....and this engine has less than 6 miles on it....
You can see here where the rags were placed to try to catch all the gas that was coming out of the carb...

If you don't have the cash to spend on wheels yet just take some cash and buy some polishing stuff and polish your wheels.
Last year I decided to get my car painted instead of wheels and to get me through the year I spent the whole weekend(about 4-hours a wheel) doing a decent polishing job and painted the insides black. I had so many people looking at my car after that you have no idea how much that 17-18 hours of polishing and painting paid off. It really makes the wheels look better and alittle bigger.
In person the black painted inserts really make the wheels look bigger..........they looked exactly like yours before I started. Upclose you could still see some marks and acouple of spots but 3-4 feet away they look alsome.

drool, you should definantly go with the centerlines. i really hope things work out for you with the motor. who would be responsible, and can you pin them for it?

Well, we think it's the starter....I'll know for sure tomorrow and I hope that's all it is. I think the carb was taken apart and cleaned before damage was done...I hope!
I'll post the update hopefully tomorrow nite...

Yes it is, but since I have a ratchet shifter- it seems t might cause a problem with wires hitting or getting caught or something so instead of fussing about it I just figured heck with it.
I would love it hooked up though!
This isn't the best pic.....I cleaned and resituated my boot since this pic, and excuse the tools in the floorboard.....

Here's the link http://www.flameball.com/HomePage.htm
But you have to be sure you tell them exactly what kind of shifter you have and what your thread size is. I had to send mine back a few times because they sent me the wrong thread size. They are very nice people though.
