liscnese plate lighting idea..please read
I know most of you are just gonna laugh you f***ing heads off..but read anyway, some might find interesting...
i was about to fall asleep and i was thinking about the post with the light up things in the back, perticularly the one with the crossed out mustang symbol. a bunch of my friends are getting brand new mustangs, not fast ones tho, and im getting a 92 camaro cause i happen to like that car the best. so i was thinkin bout the light in the back and i thought "What about doin that with a liscense plate "cover" but have it light up the liscense plate numbers on the cover instead of having a plate. This way, you could have a light up plate, and for racing or just driving around knowing something is going to happen, like halloween, you can just flip a switch and say byebye to your worries..cept at day (cant seem to figure out how to make it work at day :/) now im not sure how to get by the registration tickets and such, maybe somewhere not too noticable to put the real plate? any ideas please input.. just a thought for those mechanically incled

on a show car, it would kick ace, on a driver, you would be stoped by the first cop behind you.

true..but i think i figured out how to get it to work...the only reason they COULD stop you besides illegal lights..but since there red lights there not illegal..is the stickers. the registration stickers i mean. why couldnt you just stick those 2 stickers on the plastic "cover" and not have to worry about cops? again ur prolly laughing, but hey its just a thought
that would be illegal. just because the light would be red in the back doesn't mean anything. in most states, anything that's not factory, expecially lights are illegal to have on cars while in motion on the streets.
ya, but if your going to go that far, then so are tints...our blazer tint is 45%, factory was 30, we took off factory and added 15 more % to it, havent got pulled over once
i guess my question should be.. Is it doable, or just a really cool idea but a bad example of how gay some of the driving rules are?
