your car looks awsome but I think it needs something. I think if you paint the headlight buckets black and maybe add the black/silver IROC stripes just above the GFX, your car will look killer. this is just my opinion though. Maybe someone can photoshop it for you.

Too much wheel, not enough tire for my tastes, I'm living in the past, but that is one sharp car! Those wheels - chromed - are perfect on the white car.

the 'old' wheels look like Boyd Coddington's Magneato's.. very sharp. Both sets of rims look great. As a matter of fact, my Magneato's should be in this Friday, whoo hoo!
What size were your Boyd's, and what size tires did you run? Thanks!

right on they look good on your black iroc.. they'll look good on mine too..
I took a chance and pretty much bought the wheels without seeing them on a third-gen and without seeing them in person! However I went with wider rims for the rear, planning on 275/40's for the back..

if i were you id get some new parking lights and some clear corners. i dont like the blacked out look of them. black or white headlight buckets would look fine.

the car is lowere don eibach sportlines which ended up dropping it just over 2 inch all around. it handles liek a dream i just need some better shocks
i plan on doing a few things with more black to the car to match the turns and the sidemarkers. im going to do the black on the front lower ground effects right below the grille. and paint the headlight pockets black. ohh and get some stockers for the little stripes on the spokes of the wheels

Amazing how wheels look on different color cars. I love the chrome Irocs on Maroon88's burgandy car, but not on your white one. Then again I loved the Magneato's on your car, but not on DJ's black car! Now even I'm confused!
Doesn't matter, as long as you like em!

the car looks great with the new irocs, much better than the boyds. Dont do anything to the outside of your car, it looks perfect .

plus i am putting the vinyl decal on the spokes of the rims down that center line to give it more depth and the center cap too like in the picture of the black vert in this thread https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...d.php?t=345313

I love the look of the new IROC wheels. Here's a photoshop rendition I did to paint the headlight buckets black and added an accent stripe at the bottom.
Sweet ride!

its black on bottom, then light silver, then two medium silvers. the reflection of my driveway looks like another stripe, but its just the driveway.

All I had time to do was make the bottom one black and the upper one silver. I don't have time at the moment to make the third stripe. Hopefully you'll get the idea though. I think it looks sweet.
