My new Bonspeed wheels...56K beware.

Hey guys, just got my new Bonspeed wheels. Had to wait 6 weeks for them, which isn't too bad. Front's are 18x8 and rears are 18x10. Think I need to lose the IROC-Z decals BTW, these are the Huntington wheel.

Absolutely beautiful, an EXCELLENT wheel choice. What tires and backspacing do you have on them?

I'd keep the iroc decals.

i like them alot. i say leave the IROC-Z decals on the car. otherwise it'd just look like another RS

Camaroguy has boyd coddington hot rod wheels, very similar, but the hod rods have a more curved spoke pattern.

That's actually not a bad idea. Decals on that car are a must IMO. It's nice to see a car with nice rims without that streamlined clean car look. Nice.

You know, just when I get used to my stock wheels, and I like having them, and I like keeping my car a sleeper, one of you guys goes and posts crap like this. The car, the wheels and the stance are all to die for man. What a sweetheart of a car. Please tell us your wheel measurements, and I assume the car is lowered?

Hey guys, thanks for all the compliments!! Wow! It was a tough choice because there are so many nice wheels out on the market.

Here's some answers to your guys questions:
The fronts are 18x8 with 4.75 backspace...this helps sit the wheel in further to accomidate for the LS1 brake conversion.
The rears are 18x10 with 6.0 backspace. NO inner fender mods needed thus far. I will end up rolling the fender lip though just to be safe.
The wheels have 2.5 inch lip in front and 3 inch in the back.
245/40/18 Toyo Proxes T1R front
295/35/18 Toyo Proxies T1R rear
Brakes are LS1 front/rear
These were ordered through Newstalgia Wheel. Nice people and Free Shipping!!!
Price....well let's just say I have about $3K wrapped up into wheels and tires.

Looks like the majority of you think I should leave the decals.....guess they stay!!

wow

I love your car..
Definitely the best looking white Z that i've ever seen.

I wouldn't change a thing.. I'm not a fan of the stripe kit (if you've ever seen my car) So don't put em on your car... It looks so clean

A+

i agree with that completely i dont usually like cars with nothing on them especially a white car. but great choice in rims and that front bumber looks sweet molded to the fenders like that too.

Never never ditch IROC decals! I wish I could have figured a way to put them on mine without them looking dorky. It really pisses me off when someone calls the car a Camaro or Z28..... I know that's what it can be called BUT it's an IROC and I really love that aspect of it!

thatd make it sleeker in my opinion. even if you left the decal it still looks good. but id say ditch it, it just looks clean and sexier.

Thanks 90-irocdx3 for doing the photoshop.....it's looks nice, real nice! Makes me reconsider taking them off.

To those whose asked if they were chrome or polished...they are in fact, polished. These are not just polished but "show polished". When I first opened the box to look at them for a split second I thought they were chrome Bonspeed has a few different finishes available on this wheel. They have a "brushed" center which is really sharp. They can also "color forge" them to any color you desire.

Also...no, my fenders and nose are not molded together. The white just kinda washes out the line in the pics.

Love the car, Love the wheels and I actually think it looks better w/o the decals. I know it surprised me too I was thinking keep them until I saw the photoshop. I think it cleans it up. Keep up the good work and feel free to post as many pictures as you want.......
