What is the offset of FRONT IROC-Z Rims? Urgent!
Hi Guys,
I am getting some new rims, and the wheel
shop guy needs to know what type of offset
to use. I am getting 18x9.5 for the rear.
Can I use the same back space as are used
for the stock IROC-Z rims?
Thanks
Tommy

I believe 5" is the backspacing for stock rims in the rear, and 4" in the front. 0mm for front offset and 13mm(or 16mm?) for rear offset. I could be wrong though. The 9.5"s are just for the rear right, or for the front too? What are your 18's right now? Are they only 8" rims? What are the backspacing on those?
Also what rims are you getting?
Hope this helps a little.

BTS,
I appreciate your input!
I am getting the Boyd Coddington "Tuned" wheels. I am not satisfied with my 18's now
because they are only 18x8. My car looks kinda week from the rear because the tires
are not as wide as I would like them to be.
Here is a link to the rims.

But the guys says that I must specify my own offset and
back spacing, and am lost as what measurments to use. I'm wondering why I can't just use the same offsets for the 18x8?

Hey you are going to need 5.5" backspacing for the rears to fit right and not rub.
The front will need the same but you may have to adjust the end link as it may rub sometimes. and the stock off set is 16mm. have fun and good luck tommy.
Make sure you post a bunch of pics when you are done.
