just re-did my iroc at school what u guys think ?
i go to bcit it's a technical school in vancouver b.c canada i got my teacher to let me bring my camaro in to re-do it and i got alot done i shaved off all emblems and body mouldings like the front nose and the indent in the rear bumper. i also shaved the door handles, i also painted my foglights and side turn signals in a transparent blend of my paint color. and put autoloc pop system. i painted it a custom cadillac color it's real metallic in the sun and it's like a gunmetal but at night it's complete black. i don't have picture of this yet but i also ghosted on the iroc door stickers i did it in a white pearl that only stands out at certain angles. please tell me what u think it's still a work in progress but it's better then what it was before.

heres what it looked like before we applyied all the paint it was red with a quick maaco job that was just really bad black with red chips everywhere and in my drivers quarter it had bullit holes so i don't know what this car did before but now it's changed

Very nice work! Keep it up. Love the painted lights. Ever get any drama from the local fuzz?

thanks for all the comments yea the rims are weld prostar xp's in the back i have 245 50 16's and up front i have 225 45 16's the paint color is 805k, dark spiral grey mettallic there is also a medium spiral grey and a light spiral grey. and no i never got hassled by the cops. The best part about my car being re-done was if i got it all done in a shop everything would have cost me $11,000 for all the body work and all the paint and everything, the paint i have on my car is top notch really exspensive, but i got it all done for $260.

the taillight covers are temporary cause u notice how they don't match my color i have a set of taillights that are being colormatched to my car, and the car came with that exhaust and it's not highschoolish true dual exhaust is exspensive and hard to run and two tips look way better then one tip or two tips on one side

And while ya mentioned it I'll give my opinion on it. I think you need some nice clean tailights to break it up back there. Color-matched is going to be far too much. (same goes with the fronts...)

Dumped exhaust looks the best, because you can't see it

First of all - there's alot of respectable members here that have "fake" dual systems. If you WERE one of the few members who can afford to have a true dual system built, then congrats. The rest of us will enjoy the sound and performance of our "fake" systems. Second, attributing someone's personal tastes to them entering or not entering "respectable shows" (whatever that means) is lame.To the original poster - my congrats again.
Building a car in high-school is tough. Learning to take criticism from those who don't agree with your tastes is even tougher. However, I don't see how that has anything to do with being insulted by a member who PREVIOUSLY owned a thirdgen, is here now not even owning one and attributing a mod that a vast majority of thirdgen.org members do to being "high-schooly and *******ish" Supreme Member

thank you eye candy but i'm not in highschool it's a technical university and hearing this from somebody who doesn't own a camaro is not what i'm intrested in. and i'm not making a show car i'm making a car that is different from everyother third-gen this car is exactly how i like it and it only cost me $260 if u can show me a car that looks this good coming from what it did and cost as much as i paid then your a better man then me. let me just say the paint on my car was donated from a paint company and alone it cost $4500 lets see maaco do that.

Looks awesome man, I really love the color. I'm not one for blackouts and I do think the exhaust could be pulled up a little more, but its not my car. Its your car, be proud of it. Very nice work

i think that car really needs the black out tailights.. it really goes well with the car.
the stock 80's tail lights arent too good looking and i wish their was another alternative to them. i did the red tail light mod.
what u could do is the red tailight mod and then mix a clear and black together and "smoke" out the rear lights. tinted clear gives it a permanent covered look but its not totally blacked out where its illegal

That car is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful paintjob. Good job on it.
The black outs look right at home back there.
I do agree with the exhaust, if it was pulled up a tad toward the bumper, it would look better, but thats minor **** right now.
Enjoy it, you deserve it!

well i guess i can say it looks nice. i hadnt posted anything about it but i was going to use that exact color (mine is actually coming from the newer GMC sierras but i bet its the same) with the same ghosted badges and shaved body. i was hoping (and i still am) that this color doesnt turn out to be like that chrysler silver that everyone painted their car a few years ago.
nice work though bro and good taste!

yea i believe the sierras are the same color there are three variations of the color mine is the darkest of the three then theres a medium and a light just believe me that it's alot of work shaving everything especial on the front clip and the rear bumper because it's so flexible but yea the color should turn out good it's a nice color it really stands out from other f-bodys believe me i get comment all the time.
