rocker panel emblem ?

rocker panel emblem ?

how are the rocker panel emblems held on are they just glued or do they have those nuts on the back like the nose emblem if so how do i get to them thank you

it's just double stick tape. get yourself a hair dryer and go to town on them

Mine just have plastic "posts" if you will that stick out from the back of the emblem that snap into the two holes in the ground effect.

would my 88 iroc emblems have the posts and two sided tape? I'm thinking of taking the gold ones off and putting grey on. And if they just have the posts can you just pry them off?

i just did mine a few days ago . i took mine off with slow gentle prying , still broke posts on rt. side . car got fresh paint put back on . double sided tape on one and posts on the other . can't tell any difference , both will work . good luck .

Those with the posts (82-90) are held on with the same kind of nut used on the nose emblem. The others (91 & 92) with the different GFX are held on with double sided tape. They are all the same size so the later ones should work for all years.

I havn't seen any with nuts on them. All the ones I have seen (88, 89, and 87) have the two pegs and a small strip of adhesive holding them on.
