Coys C-5 Wheels???
Just wondering if anyone has seen these wheels in person or has any experience with them. I want my car on the road fast as possible and dont have time to wait 6-8 weeks for a set of custom wheels plus dont really have the cash right now. These are afforadable and come in offsets that will fit a thirdgen, 18x8 4.5BS and 18x9.5 5.5BS. These woul dbe temperary but i want something decent. I love the Z06 wheels but cant stand the thought of spacers. Been there done that. I think the gray center would look good on my PoloGreen RS. I am hesitant on the polished because every picture i have ever seen has a yellow hue to it. Maybe just the lighting?? Heres the Link. Coy's Custom Wheel & Tire

if you look on ebay you can find z06 wheels witrh tires for around $1200 minus shipping. you would need spacers, but theyre not that bad. then theres always a good lookin 18" iroc wheel wheel too. the irocs are cheaper, and IMO look better. your saying these are temporary, but your lookin at at least $1000 in just wheels, the cost of tires will run your whole deal to around $1500 at the least. just something to keep in mind if theyre temp wheels.

They would be right $980 shipped to my door with new tires being in the $600range. when I say temperary I mean probably get new wheels next spring. Most of the wheels I am looking at are in the $2000-2500 so $980 is a bargain right now and there would be no wait. Still considering the Z06 wheels, but as i said before i'n not a fan of the adapters especially on the rear............jt

Dude, give it a try and maybe you'll stick with them. I like those better than the tt2's, now that eveyone and their brother has a set. Old school flavor w/ a new school feel.

Well Unfortunately I waited too long, when i called last week they had the 9.5's in stock. Now there on 30 day back order. Needless to say I ended up going with Boyds Junkyard Dog Wheels in 18x8 and 18x9 (the 18x10 was specail order). They were right at $1280 shipped from discount tire direct plus were in stock so i will have them in a few days.

I like those wheels very classic looking with enough minor changes to not be a TT2. What I really liked about the coys wheel was the painted grey center, thought that would look really sharp on your color combo. I'm sure these will look just as good, and if you don't like them you can always paint them.

Yeah, I had ROH ZS wheel with a silver center and always wanted something alittle darker. I like the dark centered wheels with Green or Black Cars. I think the full polished wheels look better on Brighter Colored Cars such as Red, Yellow, white etc. I'm sue they will look good though, of course the Baer Eradispeed LS1 rear rotors i ordered are now on backorder and wont ship until may 19th, i recieved the front C5 rotors a few days ago. Its always something.........jt

Sounds like our cars a somewhat similar. I am running 18x9, 18x10 ROH DriftR's with the gloss black centers to match my black paint with teal heritage stripes. Planning on doing a big brake upgrade really soon, and hopefully this winter a lsx/ t56 combo swap. Put up some pitctures when you get your wheels on.

I have some pics that are on my buddies memory card, and I would like to take some fancy pictures with my new camera. I need to get some new batteries and clean the thing up, then I will just make a thread. Don't worry I will put a couple good shots of the wheels up.
