$50 paint job

The paint on my car was alright......from the body line down. So I decided to just respray the top parts. I didnt want to continue with the red because i knew I could never match the 18 year old red with a new color, so I did this.... all together about $50.

I didnt worry about the front bumper because I'm getting another one soon...

Let me know what you think

Just a peak at the inside with matching color scheme...

YES... I only used them for about a week when the car actually ran, but I am planning on getting new seats whenever I get my engine finished and in the car.

Yeah they look good

I mean the actual SHOCK after you get out of the car and touch anything metal.
I have those same covers on my car and i'm afraid to touch anything metal after I get out from the static electricity they produce
Even my door locks shock the sh!* out of me.

It helps if you just brush your knuckle hairs against the metal to discharge the shock without getting zapped. I learned that trick from my dad's truck.

wow, that looks awesome! too bad spray-bomb paint has a tendancy to fade and look like you spray-bombed it over time....just means you'll have to paint it again...touch up won't cost much though!

Now that I think about it, they do come with metal clips on the straps.
I guess if I ground the clip to the seat bolt that should = no shock!

lol, i'm going to try it..........

haha...no, its 5.5 inch. j/k Theres no engine in there, or much of anything up front for that matter.

The car is pretty much gutted.... no a/c at ALL. No vents, no lines, no condenser, compressor. No computers. Pretty much just headlight and taillight wires. theres nothing behind the dash at all... you can stick your feet up into the back of it. Which reminds me I need to get those pieces that go on the bottom of the dash back on.
