HELP! fog in brand new bumper lights!!!!
I just bought those clear bumper lights off eBay and put them in. 2 days later one has fog in it... DAMMIT!! Thats why I trashed the old ones just after 2 years. It is hot and humid here in Texas and moisture is a problem. I sealed up the vent holes in the housings with black hot glue sticks before I installed them to help keep water out. I already have fog in 1 of them after just 2 days. I was gonna try putting rainX anti fog stuff in them, but it says do not use on plastic... DAMMIT!! Does anyone know a way to fix this problem??? PLEASE HELP ME........

You don't say, get the FOG out of here! Whenever you allow heat into an encapsulated non breathing orifice you will have heat builup, hence fog. Don't block the opening allow more air maybe by drilling holes in the back.

the factory ones always build up fog because of that damn hole. I thought if I plug it, it would prevent the fog. I may try drilling small holes in the back, or just buy a new set, plug the hole again and then run LED bulbs... I wanted to know if there was something I could treat the inside with to prevent moisture

It all says do not use on plastic... someone said to try putting rubbing alchohol in the housing, shake it up and pour it out

use some dishwashing soap, mix in water, and pour into the housing, shake it and it should solve the problem. otherwise common "no fog" eye glass sprays would work as well i would assume, although the dishwashing soap has worked for me.
