Center Caps...

One of the center caps on my '83 Z28 is a little loose. What could I use to help it stay on. Apparently two of the little tabs have broken off and the cap rattles a little. It stays on the wheel, but I don't need it to come off.

I tried the JB weld this morning, we'll see how it holds up. If it works, I'll put it on the other three just in case.

That's the only bad thing with the aftermarket center caps. The factory caps, and some repro, have metal retainer arms. The JB Weld should do the job for you.

I just use alittle dab of silicone on the surrounding tabs.
That way, I can remove the cap fairly easy. Clean off the dried silicone, and redo again after the cap is removed.
I don't know how easy JB Weld will come off if you ever have to remove the cap.

I hope you never have to get new tires....or have to get your existing tires/wheels rebalanced. Mr. TurboTA's idea sounds much better.

I did end up using small amounts of JB Weld, just enough to hold everything together. Looks like they are still on there. Worse case scenario, I'd have to buy four new canter caps, no biggie. I have a car show coming up and I haven't decided if I wanted to run my factory wheels or my black Daytona Mods mounted with Dunlop GT Qualifiers.
