just use a heat gun slowly and carefully and that chrome will peel right off i had to that on my camaro except the paint bubbled cause i left the heat on one spot to long, when i got my camaro in 2001.

Awww c'mon too much shine in youre eye. j/k well thanx for all the replies i live in california and evryone is hyped up on bling (the crome) but now that this bad boy is mine there will be changes. i knew it was the first thing they would tell me about my car. i dont think it looks bad but i was planning on taking it off anyway because there are a lot of ugly defects on the crome everywhere. and because the car will have another paint job all black with red stripes or i dont know but i want it black. and it would look but ugly black with all that crome. well hope you keep up the comments Thanx

the stance and wheels look very good, the stereo looks like someone knew what they were doing when they installed it. however, massive amounts of chrome just don't flow with these cars....i'd say ditch it.

Your car, do what you want with it.
The boom box looks nice. Car looks like it's in great shape!
Just enjoy it, don't worry what others think.

nice looking car man. im suprised that those irocs look good on there. but i agree with everyone else that the chrome needs to go... that system looks nice are those 15"s i bet it pounds ive got 2 10"s in mine and it hits pretty hard i bet 15"s are insane if they are decent subs and good amp which it looks like it is.

the look like 12's to me.

i'd suggest getting some tint as to hide those though...unless you like the idea of that huge hatch glass getting smashed and the subs stolen out of the back.

He has a cargo shade/cover there it looks like. Probably good enough to hide the subs from unwanted spectators. Car looks very clean and straight. Nice.

well thanks for everyone who has responded to my thread. Awnser everyones questions no i dont live i cypres i live in southgate. now my subs are 12s and yes they pound like hell they even make my windshield wipers dance LOL. also no i do not leave my hatch area uncovered i have the little curtain thingy But i have considered that i will get window tint the darkest i can find. 66nova thanks for the reply i did the instal myself.

oh about the crome i have decided to take it of but not soon, i dont want to take it off and have the faded paint showing. dont want to have a three tone paint job LOL.
I am planing on making this a show car i just need to do my interior maybe leather, any ideas? I think that this car has potential because there arent many pontiacs that are in great shape like mine there are a lot of camaros though. the only good looking one ive seen was same color as mine but it was on like 22 inch wheels and it looked like a monster truck it looked ugly. but anyways who thinks this would make a decent show car???
