Racing Stripes...Opinions?

I have and 86 berlinetta that im transforming into a Z. Putting a 91-92 header and grille on it and the 91-92 ground effects. I was also thinking bout painting it that nice Blue color, whats it called quasar, im not sure, its kinda dark tho...but i was thinking of putting white 25 anniv. stripes on it. not the f***** up ones that go the entire length of the car, the nice ones that are only on the hood and the deck, what do you guys think?

I'm not a big fan of them, but if you're gonna get em at least youre not getting em all the way down from front to back. Blue with white and red with black are the only stripes I really like. Good luck.

I think that would look bad as $hit. especially with some chrome or polished wheels. If you decide to do it, dont cut any corners though. I have seen some people pay for a budget paint job with stripes and it was horrible. i say go for it.

Never have any problems with cops with my Camaro, but all the time with my plain white '67 442. My stripes are based off the Heritage Package stripes, but straight on the hood, not curved. Since I originially did my stripes back in '93, I've seen stripes that continue onto the nose, and really like that look too. The current issue of Super Chevy Magazine has a blue Camaro with the rally stripes done that way. However you choose to do them, I guarantee you they'll make your car come alive.
