New Practice Posting Ground

I got really tired of the long to load posting pics that has an unheard of number of posts. Here is the new testing ground until it gets too large.

Please try to learn how to downsize file sizes. One way to do this is when you have opened in a program such as MGI photosuit or microsoft photo editor, you go file, save as and the normal menu appears and there is also a button that says more, options etc. It will give the option of picture quality. Set it at 70-75% to drop the size w/o lowering quality much.
I would believe other programs would work similarly.

Another way I reduce file size is resize the pictures. I turn 1024x768 picturs into 474x355 and no larger. Great way to reduce file size.

Out of curiosity, who do you use for posting your pics? I had webprovider and they recently underwent a change and I no longer can use their site for some reason, tranfer errors. I have used photopoint and yahoo photos but find their process long and confusing. With webp it was enter and transfer, downld and your set, 30 secs top.

Hey 89IROC, Fairport Harbor here.

I use photopoint. It isn't that difficult to use.

John Boy
they have disabled pics in the sig b/c people don't understand file size=download time so if everyone had pics in their sigs, it would take all day to load the page.

Does this refer to pictures in the sig?

The UBB Code Image tag is not permitted, however.

You know, you can limit the number of posts per page in the user control panel. I've got mine set to 20. Helps a little, since I don't have to load as much each time I visit a thread.
