my new firebird

so ive benn looking for a third gen of my own for awhile, people have tryed to sway me to other cars but third gens just always catch my eye. so this week i finally found myself one. i paid $550 for it, she drives good, she runs good, and the interior could use some work but im glad i finally got a car of my own no more having to say "ya this is my brothers iroc clone camaro." shes all mine. shes a 1989 firebird (formula i believe i still have to check through the vin and body id number). t-tops, v8 305, automatic, and has power windows and locks(which dont work very well stupid locks). now for some pics so you guys can tell me how good of a deal i got.

nice job on a clean looking car, thats definitely an easy 1500+ car down here in the rust belt, possibly quite a bit more solid looking stuff like that is not common these things are old and been through alot of winters and hard driving now

i woulda had that thing in my driveway for sure for that cheap if it were here,

have fun with it

ya, the seats need re apolstered and the carpet is kind brown(its a light grey interior) it needs some new roof trim pieces but other than that shes good. im wondering if i can find a tripower intake manifold for it if so id get that and it'd be sweet, but if i cant find one ill just go with a new edelbrock carb and manifold. the car is tbi which sucks... but oh well it is a great buy even here in the portland area for only 550, i couldnt even find i running camaro for under 1000, or a firebird then i came across this.

Excellent deal. You cant really go wrong for $550. Just alittle TLC and that will be a sweet ride.

not to spoil the party but something just dont look right with that car ;0

im guessing it was in a frontal collision, with the replacement hood and the fenders looking all cockeyed and the headlights sticking out :P
