nice ride. Id like to get those wheels in black w/ a 9.5" width. Also, nice choice on the hood. My SS hood is still waiting patiently to go on.

Thanks, im accually thinking of powdercoating the centers black. They have a pretty big lip on them so I think it would look good. Im just waiting on my buddy to see if he can hook me up with a good price.

The SS hood is nice as well i really like it. But it takes alot of prep work to get it straight.

SS Hood + 5" spoiler look great together.
I always thought 300zx's were nice looking cars, but seeing your camaro beside it makes it look like nothing special. Car looks great.

275's are perfect for a 17x9.5, I would not run anything but the 275s on them. I had 275s on my 17x9.5 on all four corners with no problems and it was lowered with eibach pro-kit.
Nice looking rims. I like the chrome and polished aluminum look. Black rims kinda takes away from the car IMO. But then again, "Different Strokes for Different Folks".

nice ride - good to see another maro with the hawks spoiler. The wheels arent too bad either, the only thing I dont like about them is how the spokes 'bend' at the end....if they were straight they'd be perfect!
that 300....just an N/a right?
keep up the good work

That car is awesome. Good job.
One request, now that you have a beautiful Z28/IROC on here and no doubt you will get many compliments, please don't go posting pics of it every chance you get like a certain member with a blue 91 convertible Z28, every chance you get. Less is more if you know what I mean.
Again, good job. I especially love the middle pic where the golden sunset rides the lines of the car.

I haven't posted pictures in a while home fry.
And I see people posting pictures of their cars EVERYTIME they do something to their car, even if it's something as small as clear side markers. Anytime I have posted pictures of my car it's because I had something new on it. I'm sorry that I actually take the money and time to make the appearance one step up from before, and want to show my fellow 3rd genners.
Maybe I'll just stop spending money on the car, then I'll have no reason to show you anymore pictures.

The car looks great! I love the ROH ZS wheels, the hood, and the spoiler. I almost bought some ZS's but found a deal on some Ronal R-15's. What brand/type tires are you running?

ZinKx, what I just noticed the 4th time looking at your pics, is the RS badging. People are so quick to get rid of it thinking it's not worthy, when sometimes it's even more special.

With respect to darker spokes, I played with that a lot in photoshop. The truth is, with a dark car, you really need something to brighten things up. For me, the answer was having the wheels stripped and polished. Best look for the ZS's imo.

Thanks guys for all the complements!
Tires are 245/40/17 all around... I kinda wish i got a 275/40/17 for the rear tho.
I agree with you on the little bend at the end but I still think they look good. The 300zx is N/A atm... he plans on doing a TT swap after he sell's his other car.
Paint is brand new, car was originally purple
I accually have the rear RS badge sitting on my desk right now, not sure if im gonna put it back on or not.
This is only the 2nd time I have posted pictures of my car in the 2+ years I have been here. I think if your proud of your car you should be able to show it of every once in a while. Ive put alot of time and money to make it look how it is now and i know alot of other members have too on their cars. I love to see what other members have done to their cars, gives me ideas for mine.

Thanks dude, i love just cruising around now, its fun to see how many people stare at me while I hide behind my limo tint lol.
Well heres 3 more for you:

Nice, I'm running the 17x8.5's in the front and 17x9.5's in the rear. Right now they are on my IROC-Z but very soon they will be going on the new project. My plans for the wheels are to completely strip them, paint the spokes, and polish out the lip. I know you guys probably aren't going to like the color of the spokes, going with a dark bronze/gold (car will be black). But regardless I'll be sure to take pics of the steps and make a thread so others can paint their wheels too (whatever color they want).
As for the "posting too many pictures" thing, I've found its good to just make one thread for the car, then update that thread every time you do something. that way not only do people not get irritated with multiple posts, they can see the complete progress of the car in one thread.

I think it'll look great and am excited to see it.
and ZiNkx, I think you've got a sharp looking car there. the new paint along with hood, spoiler, tint, wheels and stance come together and probably give it some serious presence in person.

If it wasnt for the picture whoring on this site, I'd still have a maroon/stock sport coupe....now mine is just a frankenstein of detail from many cars on here. You've got a beautiful ride and lucky for you, you live somewhere where it can be enjoyed year round. I agree with you about the wheels still looking great..there's no design for our cars that will outdo a 'standard 5-spoke' design. Enjoy it and make sure to post more pics (or at least a cardomain so the pic ****'s dont whine)....I wanna see more
