ROH no longer making Snypers that will fit thirdgens!

So I called up JDwheels.com to order a new rim and come to find out ROH has stopped making Snyper fitaments for thirdgens! I tried calling a bunch of different retailers and none of them have Snypers with the fitament I need.

Do any of you guys know of a retailer that still has these? I need a 17x9. I tried jdwheels.com, groupawheels.com, wayneswheels2000.com, and 4wheelonline.com all with no luck.

Thanks for any help.

Should be repairable.

Is that something that any tire/rim shop can do? Or do I need to take it to some kind of specialist?

There are wheel repair specialists around, a normal tire shop would probably have it sent out to one.

I heard a rumor that ROH was not bringing their wheels to the US anymore due to high costs. Did any of the suppliers say anything about that to you?

Not offhand. Try phoning the local tire shops and see if they deal with anyone, or look in the yellow pages.

The lady over at JDwheels said something about ROH building a factory in the U.S.

I Can't imagine ROH not selling their product in the U.S. It's probably where they get most of their business.

I'm just bummed they stopped making the Snypers in a size that will fit thirdgens.

Well that is good to hear that they may be coming here, but sorry about not being able to get a wheel for the one you screwed.

They never really made good fitments for the third gen anyways. The 17x9 that they offer for the rear only had like a 6mm offset. And the 18x10 drift r for the third gen only has like a 10mm offset, and it sticks out waaaay too far. Much better to get the 4th gen offset for the rear and then get adapters.

I disagree. I think they look perfect.

Have you tried Contacting ROH themselves? Probably better to get the infro straight from ROH instead of their dealers. They can also probably help you locate a dealer of their products w/ part in stock so you can buy.

I have the 18x10 Drift R's and they fit perfect in the rear. I run a 285/35r18 combo and they sit just inside the outer edge of the rear wells, and no rub!!!
I could not have asked for a better fit!!!

any autobody shop can send the wheel out to a wheel reconditioning company to have it repaired, and I'm sure there's an autobody shop in your area.

I do. I took a rim I purchased from a junkyard to their shop in Garden Grove, CA. It needed the bead fixed, and I wanted it polished to match the other rims on my car. I took the rim to them in my car so they could see what the others looked like and could match it up better. They took the rim, said it would be no problem, and took a week to do it. When I went back to pick it up, the rim looked like it had been left against a polishing wheel all week, and the rim had circular grooves in it all around. It just looked horrible, and they still charged me $75 after I complained. I showed them the rims on my car and how this rim looked nothing like them. The manager came out and saw it and apologized and gave me back $50 and told me there was nothing more they could do. I still wasnt happy because now I have a nasty looking rim with grooves in it. I ended up using it for a rim for my drag radials. I looked at their website and I see the Garden Grove shop isnt there anymore.
