Why do Camaro front ends bend in over time?

Why do Camaro front ends bend in over time?
I've noticed that a lot of Camaros have hood/front clip lines that are not flush. It looks like the hood is an inch too long. Why does this happen? Does the plastic (fiberglass?) front end warp over time due to years of pushing through the air or what? Is this fixable?

They get sun warped and misshaped (the nose peice)
that often is how they will re-shape them when in the shop by heating them up and try to see if they can form them
or if that is ok then you hood might need to just be re-mounted

if your hood is a inch to long, try readjusting the hood. there is a good inch of play on the lifts where the 2 bolts are.
