Looks very nice.
I just put mine away last week. So, its sitting in my 2.5 car garage and I am changing the brakes on my Kia Junk......then I am carrying my jack stand and walking around my camaro. Then like an idoit I tip the jack stand a little bit and the rod falls out of the jack stand and on the the hood of my Iroc. $%#@ !!! So, now I am have a 1/2 circle on my hood missing paint, no dent really. Oh well, ad that to my **** that needs to be fixed on the body.
Anyways I saw your post and thought I would vent about my brain fart today.........so be careful around your stored baby. -Nick.

Wow, big difference in cars! That's a good idea about the dryer sheet, I may do that. Mine is in my garage though so I'll still be in and out of it doing more mods.

Good job, car looks NICE:-)

Get some painters plastic or a tarp for the floor to keep the moisture from rising.

Also overinflate the tires and/or get them off the ground.

later

I would remove the battery and keep it someplace warm so it wont freeze and ruin the battery if the specific gravity gets low.

Looks good bro.....

Also, try some laundry detergent inside the car. Just place a cup full (Tide) on the floor, it's kind of like using baking soda for the icebox.

id put some cardboard on the floor. Don't need it rotting from the ground up.
You need something to absorb the moisture from the changing temps.

rwd - looks nice. I read somewhere that stuffing ***** of aluminum foil in the intakes and exhausts is better than rags, since mice can't chew through the metal as easy. JM02

Goodbye!!

Looks really good. Just check on her often to make sure that you don't have rodents living and tearing her apart. If you live in a cold climate, then you really need to watch for this.

"(nickname "hyundai accident" )"

HA Ha , I know what your talking about from personal experience. My brother had one for the winter and the front right upper control arm snapped and he went into a small ditch on the side of the road. He was fine though, nothing wrong with him. I live in New york and there is no storage for my car, it's more like whoever drives through the most snow and comes back alive wins. I bet you will be happy to take the cover off and drive her in the spring. Cool car by the way.

Sounds like a Jeep or little truck would suit you nicely. I live up in the Sacramento area and still drive my f-bodies in the rain. Winter means I just drive them a little less....on dry days I still go to the local road course with the race car. Just bundle up a little more!

I can't wait til I have a chance to put it away for the winter. Mine seems to have gone into hibernating last fall and has yet to come back out. Maybe it's getting an Extreme Makeover??

Wow, some of you guys must have been having some shitty weather. The IROC sits in the garage and is driven occasionally on the nice days. I drive the RS everyday and unfortuately it's my winter car as well. Here's a pic.

I just finished the engine last summer so its got about one year on the motor. Its a 355 4-bolt main. lots of " go fast goodies" over the winter its getting the c5 brake kit, and possibly a t56 swap.
