89 Firebird, v6 5 speed, power locks, windows, and all that good stuff.

 

Looks like a pretty clean car, what are your plans with it?

 

Well, there's some rust on the right 1/4 that has pretty much taken off a part of the lip, nothing too serious, but better to fix it now, then when it takes over the entire panel.. And the left door handle needs to be changed..

Oh yea, was the graphics package like the one I have a special option, or did it come on all the firebirds?

 

very nice. reminds me of my old bird. same thing, only it was a 90 v6 t-top. ahh the memories of that car.....



might i suggest a GTA spoiler and hood? also, iroc rims look REALLY good on birds too, at least in my opinion. solid car man, cant wait to see what you do to it!

 

Well considering i dont see a graphics package i am going to have to say standard on all firebirds, are you talking about the little phoenixes?? Or maybe about the GFX??? The Ground FX are an option...

 

Yea, I was wondering about the ground FX. I've seen a few 89 firebirds for sale here, and none of them have this, so I'm guessing it wasn't a cheap option?

 

Not sure to be honest. Makes it look like a trans am to the untrained eye, if it had a side louver in the front fenders, a TA hood, the stickers, and different taillights you would be able to fool people...

 

Looks great man. Your lucky it has no burn marks since the guy was a smoker.

so are you going to repaint the whole car when you fix the rust? might just be my computer or my bad eyes but it looks like a cppl panels are different shades...

 

Haha yea, I was acually kind of scared that the hatch wouldn't close. I'll grab those tail-lights and bumpers some time this week when it isn't raining, or extremely cold..

Some panels are different shades, the guy got the left door, and the front nose repainted not too long ago. Would've been better to just buff it, but it happens..

I believe youll have to learn stick, and when you do, youll want a bigger engine. I believe theres a Iroc in good shape why a 3-5-0 in it. Ask your brother about bigger engines.
