i miss her already :(

since my 305 decided it didn't like no.2's rod anymore and sent the bitch seaworthy...i haven't been able to hear the rumble from it anymore...well...i wont be able to hear it ever again...the exhaust is coming off and is being sold to a board member and so is the trans...hopefully for spring it will emerge out of the garage its sitting in and be spotting a new mill with around 420rwhp ...i am going lsx and i am going to use a 5.3 since they are cheap until i can build a forged 6 liter...can't wait!!

The car looks awsome, and I too was worried that you were going to sell! Your car will be so rad with the new LSX power! I'm still trying to find the $$$ to get some new motivation for mine. I know its been said, but lower that car when you have it all apart!

He took all the pictures down except the ones in this thread so I've been patiently waiting for him to come back and post up some new ones.

Re: i miss her already :(

I used to have a 1984 IROC, Red with T-Tops, 350, automatic. Loved that car, had so many good times in it when I was younger.

It was really minty with less than 25k miles in 1987 when it was stolen and totaled. The kids that stole it were killed in the accident, apparently they lost control, went through a median on the interstate and were in a head on collision with a pickup truck. I had full coverage insurance but you can't replace that car.

Re: i miss her already :(

After many years of being extremely busy I've accepted the reality that I will never have time for cars again so I'm trying to decide which ones to sell or all. And wonder if I will miss them. I do recall the fun they used to be to drive. A fun car makes even a basic transit from point A to point B a more enjoyable experience as I recall.
