i realize i seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth, i'm still around just not online as much as i'd like to be, still rocking the bagged rs with teh gs wheels, finally did the 3 stage cleaner, polish and wax on her last weekend before rod and custom....wow should have done it awhile ago, looks better than it ever has, will get pics up maybe next week...

Originally the plan for winter was teh rear end, multi port and a blower but with my latest addition to the toy collection being a diesel i'm kinda working on blowing my money on making that faster while the camaro collects dust, have a few ideas i can do cheap to change up the rs a bit, one of those being smoothing the front end under the hood, i want to do a one piece aluminum deal to go from the inner edge of teh bumper all the way up to the radiator support(that plastic piece with the shroud and over probaly to cover the battery and the other crap, make it nice and stream lined, unsure if i'll do black yet or polish the aluminum or do it body color and incorporate the stripe in....may get around to the rear end too, wanna figure out how i can get this car lower more than anything, hte back is just bumpstop trimming the front is gonna take some work though...

With addition to the new truck i have a 10k hitch out back, a gooseneck and have the lower work for a reese fifth wheel in the back which will open up alot more long distance shows next year...super chevy cut denver for 07 so we'll be heading to either kansas or tulsa, adn me and my rolling partner are thinking of hitting a leg of the powertour this coming year...i am currently looking at a sweet featherlite fifth wheel so well see, till next time keep the shiny side up

 

my back is notched out abit..it basically cant go anymore or ill crush the exhaust..unles i wanna go die hard and cut out the lower floor in the hatch...the front i was told you can add alil spacer under the strut mount so maybe like half inch lower there..if not you need spindals and they dont make them for our cars anymore

How did the Rod and Custom show turn out? Sorry I was not able to make it down and show some support for ya! I bet you did great! Post up some pics of the show!

This summer I am also down to trailer out to Kansas for Super Chevy.

 

Brandon, good thing you didnt come out, rod and custom was not put together well this year at all, my buddy took third in his class, first deserved it a gorgeous nova but second was a 70 chevelle with seriously crooked exhaust and disgusting chrome and dinged up valve covers, we cant figure it out, you've seen the 73....I took second to a car that hasnt changed in 4 years....and whats funny is i blew him outta the water last year adn i changed my car since for the better, all the specialty awards, outstandings, best ofs were given to lowriders, rods, verts, trucks but not to any of the "conservative hartop classes" which made up most of the show...alot of pissed off people they lost a ton from last year and i doubt will have half the turnout next year,

I was pretty dissapointed, so the camaro in 07 is coming out bigger and badder i'm not gonna give into my plans but i'm thinking some custom fiberglass work and some changes in the wheel department are coming among alot of piddly things, mark my words boys, you better bring the A game next year cause 07 is gonna be my year

 

I am guessing you must be talking to me about the "A" game, since I am the only one who has showed against you! You know I always bring my "A" game when it come to show time .

Sorry to hear the show was a bust, and I am completely suprised you didn't take that. I was gonna come down till I read all the fine print on having to send in pictures of my car to be pre qualified... OH WELL!

Don't count me out completely next season, but it does sound like you are gonna give me and anyone else a good run for their money!

Maroon88 - I have one pic with both our cars in it, in my cardomain (I just looked and you can't see the wheels real well) . He did make a new thread about them when he put them on. They look awsome!

 

yea i've been pretty internet/camera lazy the last months, i have like 200+ pics on the camera from before super chevy, everything from the car to the truck plus the 100+ i took at rod and custom....someday, i gotta send some pics to fndmntls to get a new sig going
