Hmmm... I was browsing stuff and randomly came across this.

 

hey that looks pretty darned nice.. I'd even consider soemthing like that! Needs a different spoiler though, perhaps a 5" hawks?

 

Not too bad! Looks stock to those who don't know these cars but adds a little extra for those that do. I'm not sure about the front vents, but it would be cool to maybe incorporate fog lights or something of the sort in those holes. I always wondered how the ground effects would look if they were extended.

This is the first "kit" that I approve of

 

just bondo the two holes in the front and thats a very nice kit! for once something unlike all the other body kits for 3rd gens that are waaaay out there...

Fianally a body kit for a camaro that doesn't look retarted I actually like it, I think the front piece could use some improvement but other then that looks great

hmmm. i am actualy quite impressed. Doesn't really look bad at all. I actually think this is the nicest body kit I've seen before.

 

I agree not a bad looking kit at all. but that chin spoiler could use a bit of tweaking, i dont like the little vents and i tink it could probably be a couple inches lower....

 

The front vents would be great for brake cooling ducts.

 

I like that rim/tire combo the best..

Z28, well I can't read Kanji but I know the price for that 54K KM black 91 (1,250,000 yen) is about 10,500 bux. Not too bad of prices if they're in good condition. Good luck trying to get one of those cars back across the big lake to the states though 8(. I'd be interested too to find out abou their side skirts and front lower valiance's.

I think 91-92 Camaro looks better then that kit, by far..

 

i really like that..its really clean and doesn't look r i c e like most the kits usually do!

 

Cleaned it up a bit with a few mods in photoshop. Much cleaner and meaner.

Not to be critical, but don't you think it's bizzare that a japanese company is making a body kit for an american car that looks better than any that are made here in america? Just food for thought. I would buy one though.

Wow I thought you guys knew about this already. This was one of the kits I saw that gave me ideas about the kit I wanted to make. They also make some different looking exhaust stuff (I think it looks cool but everyone got their own preferance)

Think about it........the Camaro is an Import over there. Body Kits and Imports just go hand in hand. I do like the way it looks though..

I used Babelfish. That's what Google is good for. You type Japanese to English translation and it gives you 4000+ sites that do it, babelfish being one of the top ones. I emailed my ex-coworker Norihisa to see if he can get some info (PRICING!!) for us. I should get something back by next week.

It doesn't surprise that the Japanese are the only ones to make to half-way decent body kit for 3rdgen's. Look at the carbon-fiber hoods they make for our cars. (Way better looking stuff than any US company has made thusfar, IMO).

 

On the flip side of them making good parts for our cars over there. I wonder how much they know of our US aftermarket vendors (Spohn,BMR,etc). Do they import Spohn Kmembers or other parts? There seems to be atleast at that site a sizeable following for racing our cars.

 

GOOD news guys. My guy Nori (Norihisa) came through and emailed me back. It's been d*mn near 2 years since we last spoke but he was glad to hear from me. We chatted and he's going to call the company and ask:
1. What are the prices for the parts shown on that page (aerokit page)
2. Can they export to the states and approx cost
3. Give a schtick about thirdgen.org and maybe drive some international sales from it (Japanese guys buying stuff from US for a change!!!)
I should hear back from him again this week.

Really good looking though.

 

I like those wheels, I cant find the size I want on aero's website with the silver wheels, though.

The ones I do find that are the size and color I want are "dirt" wheels... wtf does that mean?

 

And all this time I've been cracking jokes on my Import firends telling them im gonna get some JDM parts for my Camaro only to find out, it exists.

 

It sure would be nice to hear something new about this kit. Like how to pay, or if you could just buy the front spoiler...
