My 91 formula

I picked up a 91 formula 350 with t tops a couple days ago. The only problem with the car is that the rear of the intake has an oil leak and it needs new cats. Other than those things this car is awesome! It has fresh paint, and it came with a bunch of new, not installed parts, Spohn sfc's, Spohn lca relocators, earls braided brake lines, ARP intake bolts. It has svo #24 injectors, Holley afpr, flowmaster american thunder catback, powermaster mini starter, powermaster alt, optima yellow top battery, Eibach prokit, kick panel speakers. All of this I got for $1,000! I almost feel like sending this guy an appology letter for ripping him off. What do ya think?

That is so schmexy, but make sure to check that it is infact a 350 and not a 305, as 350's with T-Tops were very rare.

Damn. I wish these cars were that cheap out here.

$1,000 for a Banshee nosed 350 T-top Formula is an awesome price, especially if it is solid.

Good luck on your apology letter to the guy.

Haha, I should get to wrighting. It's really solid, no rust at all. I wasn't even looking for another thirdgen right now but this was just too good of a deal to pass up so I snagged it before somebody else did. I will pull some of the good parts off of my 89, put them on the formula, and sell the 89 for more mod money for the formula.

It should be getting a stealthram in a week or 2 and I'll do the normal bolt ons and supension. I may do a 2" cowl to make way for the stealthram.

He said he wanted something that was more reliable for his daily needs. It runs great but it does need a couple of small things but nothing big. It needs new cats and a tuneup, and for me to reseal the intake. I've been driving it the last couple days and it's been running great.

I thought it would look rough when I first saw the ad but when I pulled up to meet him and saw it, that was it. It was just in too good of condition to pass on, even my wife said to buy it.

I'm not a fan of those wheels, either, and so I had them swapped over to 16" Formulas on my '92 Formula before I bought it. They are neat, though, in the sense that to have an L98 Formula with t-tops, you had to order those wheels as well...at least that is how it was for '92, so I am assuming '91 was the same.

Those wheels came stock on the formula 350's in 91-92 with t tops I guess. I thought of trading for some formula wheels but since this car came with them I may keep'em. I am thinking of puting my 18's from my 89 on it when they get new tires. I will most likely get some Ronals for this one though.

Dude, you suck!!

That is the EXACT car that I want to buy! I even like the wheels.

I'd pay 3 times what you paid and I'd still think I'd gotten a good deal.

Awesome score, you lucky bastid!

The 16" crosslace wheels were the lightest 16" wheel you could get !! keep them!!

Yeah I've decided to keep the crosslace, wether they're on the car or not. They do look nice.

Yeah it was an awesome deal! I am having a lot offun with it right now. I'm installing my A arms back into my 89 so I can drive it again and then I can fit both cars into the garage. I'll be replacing the cats and fixing the china wall leak this week and giving it a full tuneup also so it'll be running even better. I also have to install my system into it.
