Do not post in this thread if you're only intent is to start crap with me on the terms of how my dad and I put this car together. We did it our way, and if you have a problem with it, then leave now and forever hold your peace.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, we'll just leave it at that.

Now, I said I wouldn't make another thread about this car on TGO, but I changed my mind because of all the PM's I promised I'd send out. This is much easier. So basically as she sits tonight she's done. Tomorrow I gotta get out in the garage and put on the tail lights, grill, hood louvers, etc. And then on Monday I'm gonna go buy the stripes to put on here and then she'll OFFICIALLY be done.

These were taken tonight after the car was buffed and polished:

I was too excited to wait I keep finding reasons to go upstairs and open the garage and take a look-see

My dad loves my ZR1's and he said he wants to buy a set for this car, so we'll see.

Looks great nick. Can't wait to see it with the louvers on in the sunshine. BTW, is that the original color? It looks a little darker to me. Might be the lighting or my computer. Anyways, keep it up man.

Yep, it's the original color - Ultra Blue Metallic. It's the same color as what's on my convertible. I think it just looks a little bit darker because of the flourecent lights and the fact that it's in the garage. The vert looks super dark blue when it's in the garage too

Thanks y'all

It's Ultra Blue Metallic. Paint code is WA 9591. The stripes will be silver on the lower one and either black or charcoal grey on the upper one. We kinda wanna do a charcoal color because you can't really see the black very well against the blue.
Yea it won't be 100% original, but then again we did change a few things along the way, like clear coating the tail lights and emblems, so it wouldn't hurt to change the color on one of the stripes.

I love the color. I do not care for the "IROC -Z" decal. You have the nice GFX emblem so the big iroc one makes it look overkill you know?

I'd probably let the body shop guy do it, cuz if you're anything like me, you'll get nervous and eff it up

At least if the body shop guys screws it up you can make him fix it!
