Pro street style hood scoop??

I have a big hood scoop i bought for an old truck i might put on my 84 bird instead.Has anyone got some pics of this setup.I really like cowls but hey...they're expensive.I'll post a pic of the style i mean soon.

This car has almost the same hood scoop i'm talking about. Its my mechanics car and you may not believe but it won the fastest street car in canada last year.My dads on the race team. browse this site a little and i think you guys would be impressed...

well new lt1 motor thats on the way went 12.6 in another car. is that worthy enough? Personally i think that pretty good and no one would trash me for havin a scoop but that just my opinion.I'm open to suggestions

They dont fit the lines of a 3rd gen at all

And since your sporting an LT1 it would be non functional and just in the way of your view

The view is not important.as long as i can see the fear in the eyes of those stang drivers.And actaully i need the extra clearence to fit a one inch spacer.Then i was thinking could use the k&n flow through air cleaner top with a plenum sealed to the underside of the hood.that way i'm only getting cold air.

lt1 engines are fuel injected and no scoop is needed. Furthermore if you're talking about a 70s lt1 carbed motor, i'd just get a cowl scoop and mold it to your hood if you're going cheap about it

12.6 is definately not worthy of a prostock scoop
though they look great on prostock cars ;they don't look good on any street car.
