Transmission: Rebuilt 700R4,vette servo,2200stall

How do you Remove corrosion??
How do you Remove corrosion?? I removed the clear coat today off my 86 Iroc's with aircraft paint remover and the corrosion is still there..i was wondering if someone knew how to remove it easily?

Im not a body guy pro by any means, but I guess you just either sand it down with a rough grit sanding paper or, blast it away with a sandblast gun w/ a soft media. Im sure others will chime in to tell you whats best. I guess a picture could be useful too.

Abrasives are the only way to remove corosion. Chemicals will only work so much. Then when you do so seal it to prevent the electrolyte from corroding the cathode and anode.

i sanded them down with 400 and 600 grit wet sandpaper after using aircraft coating remover this is how it came out
