So, the kid that had my camaro before me, did some interesting things to it. He got it painted at macco for something like 200 bucks....so it has some problems. Either he asked them to or they just decided to paint the grille body color. I dont mind it, but its kinda different, and im not sure if itll work with what im trying to do. Im thinking about painting the headlight pockets satin black, how do you guys think itd look?

 

Nice color Grill dont look right to me, black or a silver, i had mine both and they looked good, i'm not a big fan of the headlight pockets, but i've never seen it on a teal car....could look good

 

I think the grill looks decent body coloured. I'd keep it.

Well, i went ahead and painted them, ill probably post some pics a little later on when im more confident its dry enough to move the car into some light. So far id say it looks pretty cool, best 4 bucks ever.

 

Alright, i grabbed some pics, i think it turned out pretty good. Id say its deffinately something worth doing if youre even considering it.

 

Keep the grille the same color as the car. It's different but I like it, I may do it to mine.

 

I say swap the RS grille out for a 91/92 Z28 with the red bowtie grille/insert.

 

Click to see my car (the linke that says "check out my babe" below). I have a '91 teal RS, came stock with ugly grill etc etc. I painted the headlight buckets satin black and switched over to the Iroc grill, with some swap meet 5 dollar fog lights.

Of course my car needs a wash/polish/wax job *L*

and those headlight buckets look so much better black great job
