A question can you use the hood shocks on it or do you have to use springs and a mop to hold it up? Mabey I can use shocks off a 82 or 83 I think they came with fiberglass hoods I donno. I e-mailed G&T they sais "bolts on useing factory hardware"

you can use the stock shocks. A used set that cant hold up a steel hood works best. Those hold up a fiberglass hood with no problem.

Re: ? for those with Jongbloed

I would buy the Jongbloed if the underneath of it wasnt just a filter hole...Thats why i like the IROC Daytona Hood. The hole underneath of the cowl is open....OPEN! Until the Jongbloed is opened up I feel I'll never be able to buy it and experience a new style cowl. That or they need to make the 93-97 camaro SLP hood for the 3rd Gens.

Or this one too (Like the jongbloed but 2.5"): I like that its 2.5" which is what I want...no 3" here (another downfall of the jongbloed)
