Looks great. How does it run without the smog set-up?
Re: did a little detailing/performance modifications{ tpi engine bay}

Looking good. What did you use to replace your coolant overflow bottle? Or are you just running without one?
Re: did a little detailing/performance modifications{ tpi engine bay}
i have a custom setup that my buddy and i are building,going to try and put the fill spouts next to the hood latch,with the bottles under the airintake,so there not visible...so far its looking like its gonna work,i just picked up a spare airintake incase we mess up lol,its also going to eliminate the fenderwell bottle for the wiperfluid. then eventually in the fall,the engine bay will get smoothed....and repainted when the car gets a fresh paintjob this fall/winter.

Re: did a little detailing/performance modifications{ tpi engine bay}
a few questions and an idea.
idea. just use a smaller belt, thats what i did. save yourself the $50.
questions
1. where did the wires that used to be along your passenger side frame rail go?
2. where are you going to put your coolant reservoir?

Re: did a little detailing/performance modifications{ tpi engine bay}
the wires that were on the pass frame rail,are tucked in the fender,and exit right by the battery,i am currently doing this for the drivers side wiring as well,and im also working ideas on how to clean up the wiring harness for the blower motor/resistor on the heater box. the goal is to virtually eliminate the look of wires in the engine bay,once fall comes the motors coming out,getting totally cleaned{possibly replaced} and the engine bay will be smoothed,repainted along with the car
as for the coolant resevoir question,its rather hard to explain,my buddy is very talented working with aluminum,he and i are building custom tanks for both windshield wash/coolant overflow,currently the plan is to have the filler caps right up front by the hood latch,sort of like a 4th gen setup is.

ahh.. cool.
as for your other wires, perhaps just run them under the AC box. that is my plan.

Re: did a little detailing/performance modifications{ tpi engine bay}
I had that problem when I pulled my smog pump and it was because I didn't put all the bolts back in the bracket. I had to find some that were the right thread/length. You might want to check to see if all the pulleys are straight and aligned. I just used the short belt thing.
