paint code??
hey guys, i just got a 91 camaro RS. i wanted to touch some of the scrathes on the bumper and what not. i wanted to know where i can find the color code or what the color code would be for red in 91. thx for any help.

well you can go to your dealer, they will ask for your VIN, and they can tell you. or you can go to a paint shop and they can scan your door jam and get the colour that way. but im willing to bet its something like a flame red.

Do you still have the RPO sticker in your car? Should be located in the center console or on the door to the storage compartment in the rear (driver's side)? If it's no longer there, then the best thing to do is as Gramps says.
It will look like this one from my 89 RS, on the very bottom is the paint code. Mine is 8774 for bright red.
