Center cap insurance??

You just see to many of'em gone. I got a set off Ebay a few months back for my stock T/A wheels. Is there a trick or remedy for keeping these glued to the rims for when accidentally hitting tracks or potholes to hard.

RICHRAD, I don't know how to keep em on but I'd sure like to keep those non-deserving, disrespectful jerks from stealing em!

There's gotta be someone out there who's has a trick to keeping our centercaps OURS!

The only thing i know about besides outright concrete is that those centercaps are supposed to come with inner metal brackets that SNAP into the inside of the wheel....i have six centercaps for my GTA rims, and i am not putting one on until i get 4 of those metal brackets...they are harder to find than the centercaps....good luck.

that metal bracket doesnt help much. All you have to do is give it a good kick and it comes off.

I too am stuck trying to find a way to keep them on.

Try just dabbing a lil bit of caulk behind the center caps. It'll hold it on for a long time I did mine 4 years ago and they have'nt fallin off. I was thinkin in my bathroom on how when ya caulk all behind the tiles they stay on no matter how long you have them on but.... if leave a gap between the cap and the wheel the caulk will lose it's sticking qualities jus make sure You put the caps on tight enough bonded to the wheel.....

The metal brackets wont hold if someone kicks them off, no. But having them on there as well is better than not for those potholes...

I use Cloud's idea. I heard that I should be able to find a metal set that locks in from behind the wheel. Anybody know anything about that?

unfortunately.. My driveway isn't a public place when my center caps got stolen.. damn them.. oh well.. I was motivated to buy a nice set of rims after it.

Here is whut my buddys uncle did. He sprayed the inside of the cap with some wacky color like floresent pink. Now when his caps are missing and he thinks he see them sittin on someones car he nicely goes up and removes one.....No Pink...no problem, Pink in side...no some one has a custom paint job with scratches and everything

Lol just wire a bigass transformer to your battery, then to the rim. Next time someone decides they want your wheel or cap, they will be in for a surprise!

I've seen a lot of the metal inserts, the problem is though is that they make the cap break out on the sides. You'll keep your caps but they'll look like ****
