Photoshop challenge!!

I've always loved the MeanYellowZ. The look of that car to me is what Camaros are all about. I was recently looking at a photo of it in one of the posts and was wondering what it would look like with polished wheels or any other set of polished or chrome wheels. How about it photoshop guys, up for a challenge?

well i dont like the car with those wheels. maybe its because i have seen that car with the black wheels and with the 91-92 styles. but he did have those polished a little and painted the inside slots.. i must have to say, that his car is soo nice, and he regrets selling it. but hey things happen for a reason, and he is doing it all over again. and this time i am gonna try and help him with the car and help him make some decisions.
The MEANYELLOWZ car is now in the hands of a new owner, and maybe he has better funding, so maybe he will buy new rims. just a thought!!

Jarrad, I remember those black wheels too. They looked nice, as do the 91-92 Z28 wheels. I've been visiting this board for awhile, since before the big 'incident' and shutdown but have only recently registered. I remember when it got wrecked, my heart dropped. I've always thought his car was one of the nicest thirdgens ever.

Does no one else want to take the challenge? How about those wheels from CarNDrvr's car? Those are some nice wheels too. By the way excellent job jobryan26. I've got Photoshop here at work. I know how to do the basic stuff but how do you superimpose other photos on there?

Thanks for the compliments
I'm new to Photoshop 6.0. I've used mainly basic Imaging programs for about 4 years now. I have quite a few Imaging Programs installed on my PC. And each one I like using for doing different things. I use Photoshop 6.0, Ulead PhotoImpact 6.0, PaintShop Pro 7.0, ACDSee 3.1, DC Enhance, and Microsoft Picture It! 2001. Yea it's alot but they all perform differently. As for Imposing I use Ulead PhotoImpact 6.0 for that because it's easier to use and I'm more familiar with it, then PhotoShop for the detail and final editing.

I thought these looked pretty cool. I also thought the Mean Yellow Z might look neat as a notchback!

The set of rims that Dnovotny is refering to are 17" Boyd Coddington "Tuned" series wheels. I have them on my car. Here it is.

CarNDrvr,
Couple of more q's. Do these wheels require spacers, or do do they have the correct offsets. How much did hey cost? Any clearance problems in the front, or only in the rear?

Thanks, Dave '91 GTA, '91 T/A

There are no clearance issues on the front, only the rear, and there are no spacers required either. They have a neutral offset. If you get a set, you can count on spending about $300 each for the fronts and $400 each for the rears. Then you have to spend another $1200 for tires. They aren't cheap!

Hey Deadbird I can't see your creation. Can you repost it? CarNDrvr your car is also really, really nice. I think it is also one of the nicest I've ever seen, right up there with MeanYellowZ.

Just Photoshopped it! A little 'transparentcy', layers, and some freehand with the zoom at about 800%!
