Questions about swirl marks and protecting my interior
Did a search, but all I found was a lot of different answers. Most of the threads were pretty old too. What's the best procedure for removing some minor swirl marks in my clearcoat and what are the best products to use? By minor, I mean you can only see them when the car's clean and the sun hits it just right. And what can I do to prevent the swirl marks from coming back in the future if I can remove them?
I also wanted to ask what's the best product to protect my dash and other interior plastics? After reading some things on here about Armor-All, I don't want to use it anymore. I've never used it on my car and the previous owner said he never put anything on it at all. But I think I should put something on the dash to protect it. I don't care about it being shiney, I just want it protected.

Re: Questions about swirl marks and protecting my interior
The fastest and easiest way to remove swirl marks with a Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher and something like Meguiar's M80 polish. Trying to remove all the swirls from any car, even a Honda Civic, is a ton of work and the results are nowhere near as good.
Have a look at the forums at www.meguiarsonline.com for more info than you ever knew existed on the subject. There are no wild claims for crazy products here, just stuff that has been proven for decades in body shops, automobile manufacturing plants, etc. It's the real deal.
