i started to polish my iroc wheels but thought about polishing the spoke but paint the area around the lugs ,the space in between the spoke and the line the runs up the middle black. anyone have a pic? im painting the car black also. will this be too much black? these are the 80's style iroc wheel no the 91-92.

 

This is a '87 Iroc rim on a 92RS. Is this the style you have or do you have the double line.



Someone had a pic on here last month with these rims painted black. Or you can photoshop them to get an idea before you commit.

 

yep that is the wheel.

 

Not sure what kind of CAR (Iroc?RS?) that is, but it is NOT an 88 Iroc WHEEL. It's an 85-87 style wheel. They changed to the double line for 88-90, and then yet another style for the 91-92.

 

That's the same wheel I have on mine , and it's an Iroc. But , mine are polished.

 

I corrected my post. But I didn't know they changed for 91-92. I need to see a pic so I will know too. Who has all 3 different IROC style wheels?

 

THe 91-92 wheels are just the 16 inch Z28 wheels, but you could get em on RS'es too.

 

Thanks. Now I understand his post. I was wondering how you could have a 91-92 IROC wheel without a 91-92 IROC.

 

Yeah, sorry. didn't mean the 91-92 wheels were Iroc wheels per se!!! -just that the "premium" 16" inch wheels changed!!!
