Licence Plate Frame Design

Hey everyoe, I thought the other post was getting to long and this would never get noticed. I just took the emblems off this page and put them on a frame and added text. Here our design since most of the ideas were off the last post.

Ok, what I'm thinking is that the thirdgen.org will be pretty hard to see on some cars with it being on top. Looking at my car the plate is recessed pretty far and this will shadow the thirdgen.org. I'm not knocking the design, just thought I would point this out.

Another idea is to have a Pontiac one with the bird on both sides and a Chevy one with the bowtie on both sides. I don't know what it is, but I think it would look better symmetrical, ya know? I just like things all "nice and even" I guess. Nice design though.

i don't really have anything to say, i'm just trying to keep this topic near the top. i do like the design with both the bowtie and the bird.

how about inverting the colors? I've got an SLP frame on right now and like the color balance (black background, white lettering) -Just a suggestion-

Or with the colors, you could make the chevy symbol blue and the firebird symbol red or something...just an idea...

Good job on the frames man!! Hey, it's going on 3am here so I don't have the time to edit my idea and post it now.

But I'd change the two birds to the classic Red Pontiac symbols instead (I think it would look more serious and blend in with frame geometry better at the corners). What do you guys think? Man, I gotta get some sleep! later...

me likey

I agree with inverting the colors. White lettering will show up much better than the black will.(that and the fact that my car is black so it will go better )
I don't know about switching it to the traditional pontiac symbol, the way the bird and bowtie are set up now kind of have a little symmetry going on there.

Since thirdgen is only Firebirds and Camaros, why not change the bowtie to the camaro symbol? You have the bird already instead of the pontiac symbol.

personally I like the bowtie better than the 'maro symbol. It is more recognizable and I think would look better if it is one color. just my .02

Ok, I like the designs, but what about any stickers on the liscense plate that will possibly be obscured by the birds or the bowties. I know my plate (Louisiana) has a sticker in the lower right corner that would be partially covered by the bird.

i like the design but black would be good and goes with everything, chrome could be optional,as for the symbols,i would go with the camaro symbol and pontiac symbol, the bird looks awkward and stands out too much,it needs to be evened out,the camaro symbol and pontiac symbol would be more even.

Ive been busy with school...I will have new designs up as I have time to create them....but a little competition wouldn't be bad. If anyone wants to try, just copy mine ripp off all the symbols and writitng and you got yourself a blank templete.
